In this episode of RealTalk I explain the importance of starting from where you at in any given situation. Especially when pursuing your passions, ideas, goals, and dreams.

At the end of the day we’ve all got to start from somewhere and that somewhere is from where we are at right now.

What I’ve found is that it’s very hard to start from 10, 11 or 12 steps down the road and try and skip the process because when we do this we don’t have the right skill sets, mindset or knowledge to do so.

Plus, that’s where overwhelm, confusion and frustration can come from!

When you start from where you are at, embrace the process and take action every day to develop the right skill-sets and mindset you’ll end up going twice as fast than if you were to try and skip the process.

Episode Summary:

  • Trying to skip the process of where you are to where you want to be doesn’t work as you miss valuable lessons that can help you in the future.
  • We all have to start somewhere, even the most successful people of today had to start somewhere so embrace where you are right now and just start.
  • No matter where you are right now, you can go in a completely different direction by making the decision to commit and taking consistent action steps in that direction.
