Luke Burrows is a certified YogaBody® Breath & Stretch Coach and Trainer who helps people help themselves reduce stress and anxiety, boost energy and mental clarity, and live freely without chronic pain. He takes a simple, practical approach to health that blends ancient wisdom with modern science, making it easy for anyone, no matter where they are in their health journey, to take steps toward better health and well-being.
Luke is the founder of LFO, an education platform that blends ancient wisdom with modern science to create a cohesive, holistic approach to health and conscious living. Through classes, coaching, and content, he shares tools, techniques, and insights to help people navigate health, life, and live consciously. Is this a traditional yoga class?
No, this is not a traditional yoga class.
There’s a common misconception that yoga is all about flexibility, but in reality, most yoga classes focus on strength, balance, breath, and the mind-body connection, with flexibility often low on the list. Yoga is a great holistic health practice, but if you’re stiff, what you actually need is to stretch. That’s exactly what the Science of Stretching® method is designed to help you do.
Who is this class for?
This class is for anyone looking to improve their basic range of motion (bROM) — no matter their age, experience, or starting point. It’s completely beginner-friendly, and we’ll focus on unlocking tight hamstrings, hips, spine, and shoulders using an effective, proven method.
I have an injury. Is it safe for me?
Yes, and you won’t be alone! We regularly work with students who have back pain, knee issues, joint sensitivity, and other chronic conditions.
Every pose taught includes 2–4 different modifications, so you can choose the version that works for your body. You may need to adapt the postures, that’s normal and totally okay. Listen to your body and go at your own pace.
How does this method actually work?
The Science of Stretching® approach combines best practices from published exercise physiology research with time-tested protocols from yoga, dance, martial arts, and gymnastics. The result? A structured, science-informed practice that provides effective, measurable results for increasing mobility, flexibility and improving basic range of motion (bROM).
This method is developed by YogaBody, and as a certified coach and practitioner, I’m trained and licensed to teach it to you safely and effectively.
