Latest Podcast
My latest podcast episode.
Most people misunderstand energy. Especially in a more “spiritual” sense.
They think itโs โwoo wooโ whatever that means and fail to acknowledge that energy is all around us. Itโs what connects everything together!
In todayโs episode, Iโm joined by Ali Hutchinson who is an Intuitive Holistic Health Coach, Spiritual Mentor, Author, and Frequency Medicine Holder as we discuss the common misconceptions that most people have when it comes to energy and how we can better understand energy and frequency including practical applications so that we can live our best lives possible!
I truly believe that our energy is our most precious resource. Not time, and not money.
Conversations like these highlight this and if youโre looking to increase your energy and live in higher states of consciousness such as love, gratitude, kindness and being in flow most of the time then this episode is for you!

1 Insight To Consider
Thought-provoking insights to think about.
Recently, Iโve been thinking a lot about what matters as I navigate a tricky patch and want to go beyond the surface-level stuff that most of us get caught up in and get to the bottom of what REALLY matters in this life.
This has led to the realisation that when it comes to discovering what matters and I want to stress what REALLY matters there are two lenses to look at this through. They areโฆ
1.) What matters in the big construct of life.
Andโฆย
2.) What matters to us on an individual level.
For example, letโs say someone cuts you up while driving. This can be very frustrating and Iโm confident that we all know someone, maybe even ourselves who loses their cool and others who donโt seem bothered by it one bit!
This begs the questionโฆ
Whatโs the difference between the person who loses their cool and the person who doesnโt? ๐ค
Well, there might be many but from what I understand itโs rooted in what we, or what each person values and based on their values and beliefs their perception of the situation.
The person who loses their cool would have likely felt their values been violated in some way.
Maybe, they felt disrespected by this eventโฆ
Whereas the person who this doesnโt phase has their values intact. Their values havenโt been violated so they continue with their day.
This shows how what matters to us individually, aka what we value differs from person to person and therefore affects our lives in different ways.
Now, through the lens of the big construct of life, I believe that no matter if youโre the person who loses their cool or the person who doesnโt there would be the consensus that being cut up on the road, even though annoying and frustrating doesnโt actually matter.
There are far more pressing issues happening in the world, and this is merely a drop in the ocean.
So, what does this mean for our day-to-day lives? ๐ค
Well, I think we can use this understanding to help us live consciously and as events and situations occur question if they matter to us on an individual level especially if we feel triggered as this is a big sign that they do and if so why?
I think this is a great self-discovery tool for discovering what matters to us and using that feedback to learn and grow!
Then, we have if they (the events & situations) matter in the big construct of life and from my experience most things that happen in our day-to-day donโt.
But, thatโs my opinion!
Itโs up to you to run the events and situations that occur in your life through this lens and to decide if they matter or not. And, no matter the answer decide how youโre going to respondโฆ
Because thatโs always in our power! โก๏ธ
Thoughts?!
1 Idea To Act On
Simple actions to improve your health & life.
I believe that, especially in the modern world we all would benefit from some kind of de-stimulation practice.
Whatโs a de-stimulation practice? ๐ค
A de-stimulation practice is a practice that โtakes us outโ for one of a better phrase of the busyness of life to reconnect with ourselves.
Essentially, itโs a mindfulness practice and there are many practices to choose from.
Iโm not here to tell you which practice to practice. Iโm here to encourage you to start with one that picks your fancy, be consistent with it, and then go from there!
Some of my favs includeโฆ
- Meditation (obvs)
- Grounding/Earthing
- Journaling
- Breathwork
- Qi Gong
And, in no particular order!
So, my โideaโ or challenge for you is to pick a โde-stimulationโ practice that you feel most drawn to and practice it consistently for at least 30 days.
Then, reflect on how you felt before practising and how you feel after practising and implement any insights and lessons into your life moving forward!
You get to choose the frequency too. Although, I will add that the more you practice the greater the benefits for at least most of the suggestions Iโve made above.
Either way, let me know what practice you choose. And, what insights you make as I would love to hear from you.
Try it!
